THE BIG CHEESE RACE

According to himself, Louis the Magpie is a world champion, and he is convinced he can secure victory for Flåklypa in the long-established "Cheese Race" against the neighbouring village Slidre. He enters into a secret wager with dairy director Ollvar O. Kleppvold, where he puts his friend Alfie's workshop and their house on the line.

Anxious Luca and resourceful Alfie join Louis' team. Louis is so confident they will win that he neglects to tell Alfie they are competing for more than local honour. But when Kleppvold gets humorist Olram Slåpen from Bergen and the gorilla Emanuel Desperados on his team, Louis realizes victory may not come as easily as he thought.
